Counter Balance LLC is an international level showjumping operation run by Megan McDermott based in Wellington, FL and North Salem, NY. We work with horses and riders from FEI Grand Prix level to beginners.

After a successful junior jumper and u25 rider career, Megan turned pro in 2020. Since then, she has ridden consistently in the international divisions and career highlights include a win in the $400,500.00 5* Grand Prix at HITS Saugerties in 2021. In addition to international Grand Prix horses, our stable is diverse with young grand prix prospects, amateur level sale horses, and our homebred babies.

The showjumping world is fast paced and competitive, but our team believes in supporting each of our horses and clients as individuals with unique goals and plans. Showjumping is more than just a sport - the relationship between horse and human is sacred, and should be treated with he upmost respect.
